The faith and culture recycling campaigns were carried out in areas with a strong religious or cultural identity. Members of these communities may not relate to recycling messages which have been developed for a wider audience. There may be language and cultural barriers which make it difficult to understand the recycling messages or reasons for not acting on them.
To try and overcome this our campaigns worked with the communities to develop bespoke communications that would appeal to their community and needs.
