The faith and culture recycling campaigns carried out under this theme were in areas with a strong religious or cultural identity. Members of these communities may not relate to recycling messages which have been developed for a wider audience. There may be language and cultural barriers which make it difficult to understand the messages or reasons for acting on them. These campaigns worked with residents to develop bespoke recycling communication materials to address the needs of the community.
